James G. Gill, Jr. is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina and he is a senior executive leader with extensive experience in education, human services, and logistics management. He earned a Doctorate of Education from Wilmington University, New Castle Delaware.
James has dedicated his professional life to service spending over 25 years supporting people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and mental health needs. He has a track record of providing quality services, efficient financial management, establishing effective operational systems, and implementing best effective clinical practices.
James is also a retired reserve Colonel with experience in the areas of maintenance and supply management serving the U.S. Army and Air Force. He served multiple deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait in support of counter-terrorism operations. His awards include a Bronze Star, four Defense Meritorious Service Awards, and two Meritorious Service Medals.
James has a special interest in youth services, primary level education, non-profit leadership, and small business management. As an educator, he has substantial experience in positive behavior support, person-centered supports, systematic instruction, and curriculum design.
